About Coral Interiors

I’m Helen, and I’ve spent the last ten years turning Dorset homes and holiday lets into spaces people genuinely love being in. 

Coral Interiors is my Bournemouth-based interior design studio. I work across Dorset, Hampshire and the New Forest — from Poole and Christchurch right through to the New Forest villages — helping clients who want more than a Pinterest board that never becomes a real room.

I work with two kinds of clients:

Homeowners with a proper transformation ahead
If you’re planning a substantial refurbishment across three or more rooms, you need someone who can see the whole picture. I bring creative direction and practical organisation to home renovations, so each space has its own purpose while feeling part of the same home. From first sketch to final styling, I design it and project-manage it — which means you’re not left chasing tradespeople or juggling decisions on your own.

Holiday let and Airbnb hosts who want to get booked
I know what makes a guest book, and what makes them leave a five-star review. As a former Airbnb Superhost myself, I design holiday lets that look beautiful in photos and actually convert bookings. Whether you’re launching a Dorset holiday cottage, furnishing an Airbnb or creating your own retreat, I consider how the space needs to work for the people staying there alongside the look and feel you want to create.

What you get working with me
Everything from a focused two-hour in-home consultation to full interior design, implementation and project management. A clear design plan, honest budgeting, and someone managing the details end to end. No vague mood boards that never turn into a finished room. No holiday let that looks nice in photos but doesn’t actually perform.

My background includes diplomas in Interior Design and Soft Furnishings and Curtain Making from the National Design Academy. I’m also an accredited Sharps fitted furniture consultant, which means bespoke storage and joinery are part of what I can bring to a project — not something you have to source separately. Over the past decade I’ve designed 200+ rooms and have won the Best of Houzz accolade for 10 years running.

I got into this because I love the moment a space finally clicks — when a room stops being a collection of furniture and starts being somewhere you want to spend time. That’s still what drives every project, whether it’s a family kitchen or a one-bed Airbnb by the coast.
